Blog Update at last
Hmm.. it's been a while since the last post... blame it on the semester exams that's been going on... Have been severely lacking in sleep and stressed up to the max. Finally I can understand why Yuen comes into class so stoned sometimes... >_<
Anyway it's over now.. don't wanna think about it anymore. Feels like a ton of bricks have been lifted off my shoulders. ^^
I've realised that studying in the library till 9 can be a very unhealthy thing.
First of all, I'd be in college for a total of 14 hours in a day... From 7am till 9pm... Once I start studying then usually it means no breaks, no sleep, no turning away from the book... not till I get hungry at least.. and that would be around 8something. Well... that was until Yuen started dragging me along for DotA runs.. admittedly it kills some stress.. but even more than that, it kills time.. and my mood to study.. Darn you Yuen!! *shakes fist*
Secondly, to save study time, I usually go to the nearest place that I can get food the fastest and finish it on my way back to college... Namely McD's.
Speaking of McD's... the last time I went there, the girl behind the counter gave me a free cup of coke.. I ordered a double cheeseburger and paid for it.. then sardenly only she filled a cup of coke for me and gave it to me... Then I stared at the coke for a while.. wondering what it was doing there.. Then she mumbled something that sounded vaguely like "take it"... I cocked an eyebrow and struggled to resist the urge to start prodding it... Somehow it never occured to me that it might be poisoned and I drank it after she told me the second time that it was for me... (not that it was poisoned.. >_>) But anyway... yeah... strangeness..
It was love at first sight I tell you.. As I stepped into McD's, her eyes clearly fixated onto me.. I looked around, scouting for familiar faces... there were none. She gestured me to her counter. I walked up to her with a confident smile and said "One double cheeseburger to go, please." My deep husky voice and manly charm took her breath away.. "Would you like chilli or tomato?" she stammered. I politely declined both options. She then filled me a cup of coke and handed it to me. As I sipped on my coke while waiting for the cheeseburger she gazed dreamily into my eyes. When my burger arrived not 2 minutes later, she reluctantly she tore herself away from my allure and handed me my burger. I walked off in a haste, despite those unsaid pleas for me to stay.. I could not... I could feel her pain as I stepped out the door. Tray in hand serving another customer his fries and McChicken, her heart was crushed.
How far this is true... is pretty obvious actually.. But if any of you have your own rendition of what happened, you can rest assured I DON't wanna hear it ^^
